LCD charactertype modules with their alphanumeric dot matrix and integrated CMos - microprocessor are suitable for all applicatoins requiring the display of characters and numbers (symbols) whereas the LCD graphic modules are not suitable only alphanumeric but also the display of logos, pictures curves etc. are applicable. Additional features of the modules are high-contrast supertwist technology, LED illumination (transflective) and a +5 V power supply. The modules features a build-in controller and segment driver and can be externally driven over an external 8 Bit data input.
