Packaging Act (VerpackG)


Pursuant to the Packaging Act, companies that place packaging that is subject to mandatory system participation (such as sales and secondary packaging) on the market for the first time and that typically end up with the end consumer must join a dual system.

The company PeakTech Prüf- und Messtechnik GmbH fulfills this obligation and is connected to the dual system "Der Grüne Punkt" and is registered with the Foundation Central Office Packaging Register LUCID under number DE1615822059939


Take-back of waste electrical equipment (ElektroG/WEEE)


In accordance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act, PeakTech Prüf- und Messtechnik GmbH is registered with stiftung ear under the WEEE registration number DE 42979541.
Please note that waste electrical equipment marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol does not belong in household waste, but must be recycled properly in special collection and return systems. The take-back at the municipal collection and return points is free of charge.
If you as the end user have purchased the product directly from PeakTech Prüf- und Messtechnik GmbH, we also offer you the option of disposing of the device directly through us. For this purpose, please contact us at +49 (0)4102 97398-80 or at info@peaktech.de.
Before disposal, batteries and lamps that are not permanently installed must be removed and disposed of separately.
The end user is responsible for deleting personal data from the waste equipment to be disposed of.
Information on the fulfilment of the quantitative targets according to §10 (3) and §22 (1) of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) can be found on the website of the Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety at https://www.bmuv.de/themen/wasser-ressourcen-abfall/kreislaufwirtschaft/statistiken/elektro-und-elektronikaltgeraete.

Battery Act (BattG)


The delivery of many devices includes batteries, which for example serve to operate the remote control. There also could be batteries or accumulators built into the device itself. In connection with the sale of these batteries or accumulators, we are obliged under the Battery Regulations to notify our customers of the following:

Please dispose of old batteries at a council collection point or return them to a local shop at no cost. The disposal in domestic refuse is strictly forbidden according to the Battery Regulations. You can return used batteries obtained from us at no charge at the address in the Impressum or by posting with sufficient stamps.

Contaminated batteries shall be marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out refuse bin and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal which is responsible for the classification as pollutant:

1. "Cd" means cadmium.
2. "Hg" means mercury.
3. "Pb" stands for lead.
